Other highlights of the day included a great late night performance of Sheer Mag.

P16 kicked off in style

Among Thursday’s catches were a early evening, rioting performance of Algiers, a sympathetic offering of Car Seat Headrest and a laid-back sundowner set of Destroyer.

But the real day’s highlight was LCD Soundsystem, awesome to have you guys back!

Air and Tame Impala were rightly put on the same stage, as R commented: “Shame impala sounds like Cherry Blossom Girl”.

New War On Drugs song surfaced!

It’s a cover of Grateful Dead’s “Touch Of Grey” from 1987. The song will be released on the tribute compilation album “Day of the Dead”, along with covers from KV, Courtney Barnett, The National and many more.
